Reservations

  • During the regular season (April–November):
  • Reservations are appreciated. Scroll to the bottom of the page and fill out the reservation request form.
  • You can request a particular site but it is not guaranteed. Make your request in the note section of your reservation request.
  • Please arrive prior to 9 pm. After 9:00 pm, you will need to wait until the next morning to get signed in prior to riding.
  • During the winter season (December–March):
  • Call ahead for weather and trail conditions.
  • Arrivals:
  • Monday – Friday: Go directly to the campground. If no one is at the campground office, call 814-465-9979 for assistance.
  • Saturday & Sunday (9 a.m.–3 pm): Go directly to the trailhead to sign in, then go to the campground.

Camping Rules

  • No fireworks are permitted—not even sparklers. Anyone setting them off will be immediately removed from the park.
  • Quiet time: 11 p.m.–9 a.m. (all generators, quads, bikes, and radios are to be shut off during these hours).
  • Do not put cans, bottles, or garbage in the campfire rings. Leave them clean for the next campers.
  • Do not move fire rings.
  • All coolers and food must be put away/undercover at night and when you are not at your site to keep black bears away.
  • No unattended fires at your campsite (extinguish before leaving).
  • Garbage: You bring it in, you bring it out—no garbage receptacle on site. You must take your own garbage out.
  • A state fee will be applied if you are caught feeding the bears.

Amenities

  • Firewood: Do not bring your own firewood. Purchase firewood at the camp office. Large stack = $25 (enough for 2 nights); small stack = $15 (enough for 1 night).
  • Fire rings are provided at each campsite. Do not move fire rings or leave garbage in them. Leave your fire ring clean for the next campers.
  • Picnic Tables: Available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Pets: Pets are welcome. Ensure your dog is up-to-date on immunizations. Aggressive dogs must be tethered when at your site and contained when you are not at your site.

Campground Pond

  • The pond is available for swimming, boating, and fishing (catch & release with barb-less hooks).
  • A canoe is provided for your enjoyment.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
