  • Hours of Operation
    • Riding Hours: 9 a.m.–9 pm 7 Days/week
    • Trailhead Registration Building: 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Saturdays & Sundays: Peak Season Only
    • Closed: Monday, November 21 – December 11 Reopens on December 12th; call for trail conditions.

    • Members: Sign the Member Sign-In Sheet for each day of riding.
    • Non-Members: We can meet you or you can sign yourself in. Waivers are in clipboards in the back of the registration building. You must sign a waiver every time. Adults fill out white, minors fill out yellow. Please complete a waiver and put it in the dropbox with the appropriate riding fees.

    • Single: $150 (one individual adult)
    • Couple: $225 (parent-child or significant other)
    • Family: $300 (parent(s) & up to 4 minor children; each additional child is $25)
    • Waivers: Everyone needs to sign a waiver to be on-site. Applications and waivers are available upon arrival or can be printed ahead of time.

  • All Trails Overview

    Trails Travel Guidelines:

    • 1-way travel.
    • Begin and end at the Trailhead.
    • Marked with colored arrows according to skill level.
    • Trails are marked with waypoints as reflected on the map.

    Trail Details:

    • 2 loops totaling over 40 miles of technical, challenging ATV & UTV trails.
    • There are approximately 23 miles of single-track Dirt Bike Trails.
    • Easy Back Trail is a shortcut to your vehicle at the trailhead or camp.

    Mud Area (H Section)

    • Mud area can be easily bypassed.
    • Enter at your own risk

    Safety and Navigation:

    • Water bars along the trails are designed to control erosion; use caution!
    • Mile-markers make it possible to find you if you need assistance. Corresponds with the map.
    • Trails could be dusty, muddy, icy, or snowy depending on recent weather conditions. During winter months, please call for trail conditions. Trails may be closed if impassable due to ice or heavy snow.

    Trail Markings by Skill Level:


    Green: Intermediate

    Blue: Advanced

    Black: Expert

    Pink: “Easy Back” shortcut to the trailhead

    Orange: Single bike track (dirt bikes and mountain bikes only)

    Yellow:  Intermediate Pee-Wee Trail



    Erosion Control:


    Riders can help prevent ruts by NOT riding in the same path as the one in front of them.

    Following trail signage and rules helps keep the trails compliant with erosion regulations.

  • Motocross Tracks Overview

    Peewee Track:

    • Located at the trailhead for easy supervision by parents.
    • The track may be small, but our tiny Moto Stars love it!

    Intermediate Practice Track:

    • It is about 1 mile long with tabletops and single and double jumps.
    • You can take it easy or give yourself a challenge with this track.
    • Make sure to be going in the proper direction according to the arrows.

    Single Track:

    • With 23 miles of treacherous mountain terrain, it won’t be just another ride in the park.
    • Features include log crossings, pipe crossings, hill climbs, and tight tree sections.
    • This trail is GNCC rider-approved and guaranteed to push you and your bike to the limit.
    • The single track is for two wheels only and runs two-way. Four-wheelers will not fit on this trail. Stay on the Orange Trail to get the whole experience.





  • Trail Rules

    #1 - Helmets (No helmet, No Ride):

    • Helmets must be worn and buckled at all times.

    Children under 18:

    • Proper Riding Apparel for Children
    • Helmets and long pants are required.
    • Above-ankle boots are recommended (no flip-flops or sandals).
    • You'll need eye protection.
    • Gloves recommended.

    Trail Etiquette:

    • Follow marked trails only and abide by posted speed zones.
    • No donuts, wheelies, or roosts within these speed zones or in the grass. (Trailhead and camping area)

    Garbage;

    • “Bring-it-in/Bring-it-out.” PLEASE DO NOT LITTER!

    Alcohol/Drugs:

    • NO alcoholic beverages/Drugs BEFORE or DURING riding.
    • You either ride OR drink, NOT both!
    • We reserve the right to check coolers, toolboxes, and carriers. If alcohol is found while riding, it will be confiscated, and/or you will be escorted back to your vehicle.
    • Drinking is allowed at your campsite, as long as it is done responsibly and after riding.

    Riding Restrictions:

    • No double riding on sport quads or sport utility quads.
    • Never more than two riders on a larger 4×4.

    Riding Hours:

    • 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
    • You must be off the trails by 9:00 pm.

    Machine Restrictions:

    • All machines must NOT exceed 99 Decibels at the AMA-recommended RPMs.
    • We have sound meters to do the testing at the trailhead, in the campground, and along the trails.
    • If you think your machine may exceed 99 dB, we will test it for you when you register to ride.
    • Testing will be done according to the AMA Racing Rulebook standards.
    • All machines must have maintained mufflers and silencers (quiet core) to not exceed 99 dB.
    • If you show up to ride and your dB is over 99 dB, you will not be allowed into the “Quiet Zones” and must fix it before coming to the park again.

Majestic Trails is located in the Allegheny Mountain region in North West/Central Pennsylvania.

Located approximately 2-hours South of Buffalo, NY, and 6-hours from New York City,

3-hours from Pittsburgh, 4-hours from Harrisburg, and 3-hours from Binghamton, NY.

If traveling 46 South, you will turn left onto a dirt road named Fitch Hill Road, 1 Mile from the 646 Intersection. Go to the top of the hill to the Campground office.

Make sure your Navigator or GPS does NOT take you to Emporium, PA


Best Route To Use for the MAIN Trailhead (Day Riders):

Rew, PA 16744

~ From Bradford, PA, Travel 46 South for 9-miles to the trailhead on left.

~ From the Rew Intersection (Rt. 646 & Rt. 46) ~ continue South on Rt. 46 for 2 more miles to Trailhead on the left.

~ From Smethport, at the 446 intersections, travel 4.3 miles on 46 North; the trailhead is on the Right.


Camping Area Directions and for the Bunkhouse & Cabin:

~ From Bradford, PA, Travel 8-miles on Rt. 46 South (instead of 9 miles to the trailhead).

   Then turn left onto “Fitch Hill Road” (Dirt Road). Look for the sign that reads “Majestic Trails 1-mile Ahead.” ~ Turn LEFT just before that      sign. Go to the top of the hill to the camping area.

~ From Smethport, at the 446 intersections, travel 5.3 miles on 46 North; the Fitch Hill Road is on the Right.


GPS:

Use 100 Fitch Hill Road, Smethport, PA, or 2005 Rt. 46 or 2005 Hwy 46, Smethport, PA; make sure it does not take you to Emporium, PA.

Frequently Asked Questions
  • When are you open?
    • We are open year-round (7-days/week) with the exception of Hunting season (closed Monday before Thanksgiving for 3-weeks)
    • During the Regular Riding Season (April – November) Saturdays & Sundays: we will have the Trailhead manned 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. to sign you in and explain the trails to you.
    • There is no need to call ahead for Saturday & Sunday Riding. Weekdays (Mon-Fri): If it is your first time, please call at least 1-day AHEAD of time so we can make sure to be there to sign you in and explain the trails to you. Also, call once you are in the Bradford area; that should give us enough time to stop what we are doing and come to the trailhead. If, for some reason, we are not there when you arrive, please give us a call @ 814-465-9979.
    • Other than Regular Season There is no need to call ahead if you are a current member. However, during the winter, we recommend that you call ahead for trail conditions.
    • If you come and no one is there: Please go to the back of the Registration Building. There will be a waiver there for you to sign (in the clipboard). Complete a waiver and put it into the dropbox with the appropriate fees. (Note: There will be waivers for Adults AND minors; please use the appropriate waiver.)
    • PLEASE make sure you read all trail instructions and rules BEFORE riding. They are also in the second clipboard.
  • What are your hours?

    • Riding hours are between 9:00 and 9:00 .
    • Members: You may ride at your leisure during riding hours. You will need to sign in on the Member sign-in sheet at the back of the Registration Building.
    • Non-members: There is no need to call ahead if you have been here before. Just sign a waiver and put it in the dropbox with money. First-timers must call us 1-Day PRIOR for WEEKDAY riding so that we can be available to sign you in. There is no need to call ahead if you are going to arrive on Saturday or Sunday during the regular season 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (April 8–November 12).
